How To Enter
Contest Rules & Criteria

- The contest begins June 23, 2022 with final submissions due by September 1, 2022.
- Complete the entry form - download here
- Include the following information:
- Your full name including any co-designers
- Email address
- Phone Number
- Design (see specifications below) and / or Slogan
- Design
- May be a rough sketch on paper
- May be a fully developed logo in .jpg, .png or .pdf format. If your design is selected, we will ask for the scalable vector graphic in PSD format.
Contest Rules & Criteria
- A slogan is NOT required (e.g. “Land of Sky Blue Waters”). An image IS required.
- The image/slogan should be representative of “WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU THINK MINNESOTA”
- It must include the verbiage “2023 Elks National Convention”
- The design must be scalable to be used as small as lapel pins and as large as posters. The image will be used in social media, printed materials, clothing, and other items as defined by the committee.
- No more than 3 entries may be submitted by any one individual
- All entries will become the property of the Minnesota Elks State Association. By submitting an entry, the entrant(s) agree that any and all intellectual property rights in the design are deemed assigned to the Minnesota Elks State Association (MNESA)
- The MNESA reserves the right to modify the winning logo to best meet the needs of the event.
- Do not use copyrighted or trademarked elements in your design
- Entrants affirm that their submissions are their own original work and have not been copied nor derived in such a way as to violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity
- The LSC Core Committee will evaluate all submissions and identify the winner. The winning design will be presented at the Mid-Year Convention in Breezy Point in October.
- Entries will be judged on their visual appeal, adherence to rules and criteria, quality of design and ease of reproduction for the purposes stated above.
