Youth Camp Memorial Plaques

In 2023, the Youth Camp board with the help of Minnesota Veterans Services erected a memorial to those who served in the armed forces as well as significant contributors to the Youth Camp. On either side of the memorial are two walls that highlight the cardinal virtues of our order: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity.  On those two walls, members can purchase and place a memorial  plaque for someone that loved Youth Camp.

The photos on the right show the entirety of the memorial area, the two sets of walls below and then a sample of some of the plaques currently on the Charity and Justice wall. The plaque at the top of each wall reads: "ELKS ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN, NEVER FORSAKEN! TO OUR ABSENT MEMBERS"

The plaques are limited to 25 characters in length for the name and any titles. Titles are not required but examples include PGER, PSP, PER etc.
