Minnesota Elks Association : Home of Grand Exalted Ruler Paul Ryan!

Our very own Paul Ryan from Willmar Lodge #952 was installed as the Grand Exalted Ruler for 2020-2021. His son Jordan put together a video highlighting Paul's background as well as our state's major project - The Minnesota Elks Youth Camp. You can view the video here.  Check out more information about Paul on the Grand Lodge web site.

Greetings from Minnesota

The Land Of 10,000 Lakes
On behalf of our 24 lodges of the Minnesota Elks Association, I welcome you to our website.

The Minnesota Elks Association was organized in 1904-1905. Our current State Sponsor is Past Grand Exalted Ruler Dwayne (Sandy) Rumney of Willmar Lodge #952. Our Association is comprised of four districts, each having a District President:

  • Central District President John Jennings of Hutchinson Lodge #2427.
  • Metro District President Craig DeForge of Minneapolis Lodge #44.
  • South District President Sue Foster of Rochester Lodge #1091
  • North District President Becky Radika of Hibbing Lodge #1022.

Our State Major Project is the Minnesota Elks Youth Camp. Our camp is a co-ed camp for deserving youth of Minnesota, ages nine through thirteen. The Elks of Minnesota have been sending children to this camp for over 65 years. The camp is located twelve miles north of Brainerd on the south shore of Pelican Lake. The camp setting includes about 275 acres of land on Pelican and Markee Lakes. Click on our Youth Camp tab to find out more.

I hope that you take some time navigating our site to learn more about the Elks Lodges in our State and the work that we are doing with our youth, our veterans, and our communities.

Fellow Elks, please visit us often and get to know us.

Not an Elk yet, find out more information about how you can join at How To Join.

Fraternally,
Lyle Nygren
Minnesota Elks Association President
Duluth Lodge #133
